Introduction
The Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy leads national efforts to protect the Maldives’ environment and respond to the climate emergency. We coordinate climate adaptation, biodiversity conservation, waste and energy programmes, and enforce environmental regulations in partnership with island communities and international partners.
