Temperatures across the Greater Malé region reached a daytime high of 32°C, with UV index readings at Very High levels between 11 AM and 3 PM. Residents and outdoor workers are advised to stay hydrated, limit direct sun exposure during peak hours, and check on elderly family members and young children. Light, loose-fitting clothing and regular water intake are strongly recommended. The Maldives Meteorological Service will issue a follow-up advisory if the heat index climbs further over the coming 48 hours.
